Blossom View Cottages offer luxurious vaction rentals in Ashland, Oregon. The owners of Blossom View Cottages have been long term visitors to Ashland, visiting Ashland annually for the Shakespeare festival. Like many other visitors to this beautiful town, they were enchanted by its charm and eventually made the move to Ashland.
They decided to buy the property on 3rd Street because of its location in the historical railroad district and its proximity to downtown, OSF and A-Street and general walkability to the local attractions. The original house on the property, The Victorian Rose, was built in 1901 in the Folk Victorian style and is on the Register of Historic Places. It was renovated to maintain the original character but updated with modern amenities.
The second house on the property, The Blue Hyacinth, is a newer addition but shares the architectural characteristics of the older homes prevalent around Ashland. This too was updated in 2015 by adding luxurious finishes to the kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces.
The owners enjoy gardening and have designed the gardens themselves. Their gardening philosophy is to plant a garden that atracts bees and butterflies, while providing sensory enjoyment.
