Location

Ashland is located at the foothills of the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountains. It enjoys four seasons, a mild climate and plenty of days of sunshine. It is home to the world famous Shakespeare Festival and also hosts an annual independent movie festival.  Crater Lake is couple of hours away by car and the quaint town of Jacksonville is less than one hour drive. Both make for delightful day trips. The nearby Rogue River, Mount Ashland and other lakes offer outdoor adventures throughout the year. A number of wineries and orchards call the surrounding area home and there are scenic drives within and just on the outskirts of town.

Next to Downtown in the Historic Railroad District

The historic railroad district of Ashland is popular with tourists and locals alike. The area is right next to downtown and boasts some of the finest restaurants in Ashland, spectacular art galleries, clubs with live music and spas.

Our cottages are located in a residential neighborhood in the historic railroad district, yet we are within half a mile to downtown and the Shakespeare festival. The Food Co-Op is two short blocks away and the restaurants and galleries on A-Street are half a block away. Park your car on the property and walk to the theater and other local interests. While all units have kitchens or kitchenettes, famous local coffee shops, landmark restaurants and clubs are literally steps away.

There are plenty of walking and bike trails close to the cottages, and wandering around Ashland's charming neighborhoods is always pleasant.
